Bedside Coach is a nurse-built clinical judgment simulator that helps learners practice handoff, assessment, prioritization, medication workflows, escalation, reassessment, and debriefing across realistic patient scenarios.
Founder Story
Built from the gap between knowing and doing.
I am Brandon Dominguez, DNP, MSN-Ed, RN, CHSE. Bedside Coach grew out of real bedside experience and nursing education work: the moments when learners understand the content, but still need practice deciding what to do, what to say, what to prioritize, and when to escalate.
The goal is practical, repeatable simulation that helps nursing students, new graduates, faculty, and training programs move beyond passive review into full-process bedside judgment.
What Bedside Coach Does

Question banks help learners review what they know. Bedside Coach helps them apply it through realistic bedside scenarios that include patient context, evolving cues, communication, medication workflows, Multi-Patient Mode, prioritization, delegation, escalation, reassessment, and guided reflection.

Research Note
Early student experience work is underway.
Preliminary student preference data from a recent Bedside Coach spatial simulation experience found students preferred Apple Vision Pro spatial simulation over traditional high-fidelity simulation and VR. Formal presentation/submission activity is underway.
